To catch me smiling was like catching a fly with chopsticks, it was rare. This was because I had lost all hope in life. When I arrived in the Universal church it was my last option, I was on my way to terminate my scholarship at the Botswana embassy in London, United Kingdom where I was studying.
I didn’t have any prospects in life. I had just been through a divorce. I was depressed, struggling financially and in my studies. Life seemed unfair because of so many problems. All along I had been fighting for a good and fulfilling life but I had come to the end of the road, I was stuck and did not know what to do. My life was at cross roads and I needed to redefine my destiny. I arrived at the Universal Church devastated and the first thing I was taught was about the chains of prayer.
I started engaging myself faithfully with the determination to change my situation and lifestyle. I made chains of prayers on Mondays for success in my financial life, Wednesday for revival as I had a void inside of me that needed to be filled, Thursday for my love life and Friday for deliverance from the depression that also caused me not to sleep well at the night.
There wasn’t any magic. I fought for my life through chains of prayers and today my life has changed completely. I am happily married with two kids and I have a stable job to support my family. God revived me. I am confident and am happy once again. I thank God for the transformation. Now I know that whatever problem I face, big or small, I take it straight to God through prayer and I always come out victorious. This happens to everyone who believes and acts his or her faith. Don’t give up.
