It is frustrating for one to keep searching but never finds. You search for love from boyfriends or girlfriends and all they do is to break your heart. You search for fulfilment, confirmation, restoration, power, inner healing, peace, etc. and do not find. There are times that you even travelled abroad to search for answers from places and people. You have spend so much time and efforts, all in vain. Where and when will your life ever change?
Here is the truth, You will never stop searching until you get connected with God. The search ends when one connects with God. He is everything you have been looking for.

Zacchaeus is one of many that finally connected with God.

He tried to see who Jesus was, but was not able from the crowd, because he was little in stature. So he ran ahead and climbed up into a sycamore tree to see Him, for He was to pass that way. Luke 19:3-4 MEV

Zacchaeus wanted to connect with the Lord Jesus that’s why he climbed that tree. And guess what, he connected.

When Jesus came to the vicinity, He looked up and saw him, and said to him, “Zacchaeus, hurry and come down, for today I must remain at your house.” Luke 19:5 MEV

When Jesus went to Mary and Martha’s home. This is what happens.

She had a sister called Mary, who also sat at Jesus’ feet and listened to His teaching. Luke 10:39 MEV.

Mary connected with Jesus. She sat down at His feet and was taught by the greatest teacher of all times while her sister was distracted and worried about so many things. Mary sought for one very important thing, to connect with the Lord Jesus Christ. You will never find peace and fulfilment until you connect.

How do you connect? You got to be hungry and thirsty for His presence. You really need to develop interest in God. Seek Him, not people or places.

For I know the plans that I have for you, says the Lord, plans for peace and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope. Then you shall call upon Me, and you shall come and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. You shall seek Me and find Me, when you shall search for Me with all your heart. Jeremiah 29:11-13 MEV

God bless you.
