“I had a broken marriage and a divided family. After the death of my father in 1990, everything changed in my family. There was no peace but division between us siblings and we were also fighting our mother.
My siblings would physically assault each other and this resulted into more conflicts, which became too stressful for me but this was just a tip of the iceberg.
In 1992, I got married. For 13 years, we lived happily with our children. My husband and I had two established businesses that we were both taking care of, until one day I discovered of his affair with one of our employees. This did not only bring disappointment but shame, misery and depression. My husband chose the other lady over me to the extent that he would even take his clothes and wash them over at the lady’s house.
The worst moment of my life was when I realized that my husband had no interest in me and the food I cooked for him. Knowing this brought me pain. I ended up developing high blood pressure and I had sleepless nights because of my situation. I developed so much hatred towards my husband to an extent that I found no point in being faithful to him and decided to get involved in an affair too. I also started drinking heavily trying to forget all my problems. This affected my children so much that they started misbehaving, drinking alcohol and disrespecting me. I became afraid of my son and would always have to call the police to intervene whenever he misbehaved.. My husband stopped taking care of us because we lived separately.
When I came to church, I was introduced to the chain of prayers on Fridays for my deliverance. I got delivered from my addiction in alcohol and I was able to forgive my husband. Seeing that there was progress in my life, I engaged myself in Thursday chain of prayers to fight for my marriage and participated in every movement of faith and Campaign of Israel. God honored my faith and my marriage was restored. I persevered in the chain of prayers for my family and children.
Today everything is in place. My marriage is restored, and there is so much peace and love. My family is united, we love each other so much. My children respect me and they are also blessed. We have our own business that is running well. Our financial life is stable. I thank God for everything.”
